CHRIS P ROBINSON RIBA
About
Chris started an early age when his artist mother encouraged him to draw and paint. Raised in the Cotswolds in Gloucestershire he eventually followed the path to London where he now paints on a regular basis.

He started his career as an architect where he ended up as a partner in an awarding winning practice.
To commit more time to his painting, he now runs a small architectural practice and balances both professions from his London based studio.

The majority of paintings that are for sale are en plein air, in the landscape..I prefer the unpredictability of the weather, light and atmosphere, rather than the comfort of the studio. I paint in watercolour because it helps to capture the 'moment ' as quickly as possible.
I am London based, but enjoy painting the countryside as much as I do the city
I have exhibited at
Royal West of England Academy
Royal Academy London (architectural subject)
Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours, Mall Galleries, London
Chelsea Art Society (member)

Paintings are in collections worldwide
